Cruiser Update

So, the cruiser is technically up and running, but I hope all the small things will be done soon, so we can take it to Moab in a few weeks and so Scott will start on my Suburban. But here are a few of the latest things Scott's has been building.
A custom skid plate! It doesn't look exciting, but we can't go to Moab without it.
Bumper with winch mount

test fitting the soft top.

He still has to paint everything he has built, but I hope we make it to MOAB!

Eva turns One

Where has the time gone? I really can't believe you are already one year old. It makes me so sad. You are such a cute happy little spunky girl. You love cake or candy or anything with sugar. I can tell you are my 4th child because I don't think Annie knew what sugar was yet. Sorry

You learned how to crawl up and down the stairs all by yourself this month. Yahoo. Say good bye to the baby gate!

You aren't walking by yourself yet, but you love to walk behind your new grocery cart or anything else that you can push. You love to grab mom or dads hands to walk too!

You love to play with toys of any kind as long as someone is in the room too.

I had to snap this picture because you are playing with the dolls. How cute is that!

We love you EVA!

A few random pictures

My cute kids and dogs. It doesn't matter how many pics I take, I can't get a cute one of everyone. They are cute, but not what I was looking for.

The cute little bundle being dragged through the front room would be poor little Eva (4th child).
I'm not a horrible mom, she wasn't crying or sad.

Congratulations to Annie! She drew a picture for the yearbook contest and was the winner for the 3rd graders. She is quite the little artist.

I have to say that I was so sad I put Margaret in afternoon kindergarten until I realized the joy of not having to pick up my girls after school. Annie and Margaret are so cute. They love to walk home everyday. Maybe it's the snack I put in their backpacks!
Margaret is such a girl. She wants to wear dresses or skirts everyday. I try and tell her how cold it will be at recess, but she doesn't care. She loves them anyway.

Reflections Contest

Annie entered and won the Reflections Contest. She took this picture with her own camera while we were in Yellowstone in September. Now they are sending her photo down to be judged in our region. We are so proud of you Annie.
Here is her photo.

Our new Suburban

For our 15th anniversary, Scott and I took a road trip to California to get my new car. Scott's mom was nice enough to take 2 days off work so we could go. We had to take Eva with us, but it was still a great anniversary. We ate fresh seafood on the coast and drove highway 1 towing the suburban behind us. It was great! Scott has been looking for an old suburban for months and we finally found the one. It is going to be so much better than my Cruiser. No more climbing over the seats and squishing poor Margaret in back with the dogs. Scott has the FJ40 up and running and has to finish a few things and then he is going to start on my new ride. I'm so excited! And yes I am keeping the Orange, but it will be Orange and white. Scott wouldn't let me have my blue because the FJ55 is blue.

The girls are super excited. The first night we were gone, we called to talk to the girls and the first thing Margaret said was Did you get the new car yet? No not yet. What color is it? Orange. That's my favorite color.
Good thing our girls are just like us and love old cars.
