It's raining
So usually the words "It's Raining" aren't too bad, but on conference Sunday they were so so bad. I will try to be quick, but that's hard for me. So on Sunday the upstairs bathroom toilet clogged and Scott was at work. The girls and I were going up to Cache Valley with Scott's family to Great Grandmas to watch conference. Anyway I was in such a hurry and I thought I will just plunge later, they are going to be here any minute. So 10 minutes later I forget and send Mags to the bathroom and she comes to me downstairs with wet legs. I freak and accuse her of peeing her pants and she said it was the toilet. I start for upstairs and tell her to run to the bathroom before she wets her pants. She runs to the downstairs bathroom and screams "It's raining". AAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!! So there is water raining out of the bathroom fan splashing all over the bathroom. I run upstairs and plunge the toilet. OF COURSE I DON'T TURN THE WATER OFF, so the water pours all over the floor and I might have flushed the toilet again, but I won't admit that. I clean up the upstairs bath with a bunch of towels and then run downstairs to do the same to the other bathroom. Luckily we have the fan and most of the water came through without ruining the ceiling, but of course it did ruin about 2 inches down all along the wall. So RUDE. I wish this would have happened 2 months ago. So my inlaws come in while I am sanitizing the bathrooms and I go to take the first load to the laundry room and the washer is BROKEN. Could it get anyworse? Well my inlaws are awesome and took all of that nasty laundry home to do for me. And now I get to buy a new washer!

sorry
So the funniest thing happened last week. Scott let the girls dip apples into carmel and cute little Ellie got a little carried away. So I put her in the bath and went back to the kitchen to clean up the carmel that was everywhere. A few minutes later her singing turned into screaming. When I went into the bathroom, she was standing at the side of the tub trying to get out screaming "sorry". So I looked into the tub and there were big logs floating in the tub with her. It was so funny. She did not want to be in the tub with that poop. I don't know how she knew it was wrong, but she just kept saying "sorry" in her cute little voice. Does this mean she is ready to potty train? Fat chance huhThe Hollow

Fire Alarm
The funniest thing happened Sunday morning, but I have to give you a little background first. So my smoke detector is right outside my bathroom door and so when we take a shower and forget to close the door, the alarm will go off. Anyway Saturday we spoke to Annie and Mags about what to do in the case of a fire. They share a room in the basement and sleep in bunkbeds. So we told the girls all of the steps they should take to get out of the house through their window. We turned the fire alarm on so they could hear it. Annie was a little upset about the whole thing, but I told her it was just like a firedrill like school and most likely we would never have a fire. So Sunday morning Scott wakes up at 4:30 am to shower and go to work and at 5:30 am ten minutes after he left the fire alarm starts to go off. I am so tired, I think it is my alarm clock and I keep trying to turn it off until I hear sweet little Annie in the basement yelling at Maggie to wake up there is a fire. I jump up and go to the bathroom to put my contacts in and I keep yelling to Annie that it's okay, there isn't a fire. (Good thing there wasn't one because I'm blind). She couldn't hear me over the alarm, so I turned it off by fanning the moisture away and run downstairs. Annie had jumped out of bed, closed her bedroom door so the smoke wouldn't come in, woke up Maggie (but Maggie wouldn't get out of bed) and was trying her hardest to open the window. The window has two latches (bad idea for a little kid) and she was a little nervous, so she locked one and the other was unlocked. I had to show her how to open the window again. Anyway I was just so proud of my little six year old. She is such a big kid now.
