This summer we went up to Yellowstone to stay at my parents cabin by Henry's Lake. We took Scott's family with us. We drove through the Park, shopped in West Yellowstone, floated down Big Springs in our canoe, fished, and went hiking.
We took Otis and Ruby with us in the back of the Cruiser. Ruby was really nervous in the car. She isn't used to long road trips yet.
At the Cabin, we let the dogs run loose during the day. They had a blast. We got a whistle and would call them back occasionally. We went hiking in the mountains and played hide and seek. A few of us would hike ahead and then the dogs and another bunch would come up behind. Otis and Ruby are amazing trackers and would come and find us.

We went into Yellowstone National Park and drove all through the park. We went to Old Faithful, to the geysers in Norris and up to Mammoth. We tried to go swimming at Firestone River, but it was way too cold.

What a life. Grandpa carried Ellie all day. Ellie loves everyone, but especially Grandpa.
